God is...
I read this on a page in my Bible this morning - and thought it was a great reminder of how involved God is in our lives.
God is...
at work in MY WORLD... this planet, my country, my town, my community. God cares deeply about MY CHURCH and my role in it... my youth group, my Christian friends, my church family, the global family of Christ. God is part of life at MY SCHOOL... my classes, my homeowrk, my teachers, the stresses, challenges, and temptations - all of it. MY INTERESTS matter to God. He created them! God cares about my goals, my dreams, and my plans. God cares about my life at home with MY FAMILY. God's dream for my family is amazing - and I want to live it out! God cares about MY FRIENDS... my best friends, my boyfriend/girlfriend - all my important social relationships are also important to God. God intimately knows and love MY SELF... God is part of my past, my present, my future - every part of who I am and who I'm becoming.
God knows me better than I know myself!

Hillsborough Bible Week
This Saturday afternoon - a group of the young people from 4:12 will take off to stay for a week at Hillsborough Bible Week. I am very excited about what God is going to do in their lives!
But, just a note for all the young people not going down to stay:
The church minibus will leave every night Monday to Friday from the church at 7pm to go to Hillsborough Bible Week, and you will be home between 11-11:30pm.
This will replace regular 4:12 on Friday night - we will have enough vehicles to bring everyone down there!
Hope to see you there!

Games Night - 5th June 2009
A few weeks ago at 4:12, we had a Games night at the church. Everyone was put into a team, and each team was competing to be the best. But they were going to have to work for it! There were a variety of challenges which started off with designing your own team costumes - what is your brand? Other challenges included Football, Dodgeball, 'Chalk-it-up', Paper Airplane challenge, and Capture the L-Plate. Check out some of the action. David Hume's 'Pink' team won in the end - after a head-to-head toilet roll challenge against Chipo's team. Well done Pink!
