As promised you will win a gift card if you are the first person to e-mail me with the FULL answer to this question:
There was a King somewhere in the Bible who was very old, and no matter how many blankets/covers he had - he just couldn't keep warm.
What was his name?
Where in the Bible did you find the answer?
Happy searching!

Ryan Griffiths Band - Friday night pics
Friday we had the Ryan Griffiths Band at 4:12! They are making an album and so held a night in our church to raise some funds, and just have a great time worshipping God. Aaron Boyd from Bluetree also took part leading us in worship to 'God of this city.' Roy Walker and Erin Walker were the speakers for the night. Roy encouraged us that if we had a dream for God to go for it. Erin brought some encouragement in making sure that we know the God whom we serve. A few other churches brought their youth groups too, and it was good to have a bunch of young people in the same place giving praise to God. We had a great night and I love some of the songs that Ryan has written. Here are some pictures from the night (although the lighting wasn't great!) Thanks Lauren C - photographer extraordinaire!

My prayer for Belfast....
This song, made famous by Chris Tomlin, was actually written by a local Belfast band - Bluetree. They have a great album out of their own...
But I love the words of this song, and it is our prayer for Belfast.
You're the God of this City
You're the King of these people
You're the Lord of this nation
You are
You're the Light in this darkness
You're the Hope to the hopeless
You're the Peace to the restless
You are
There is no one like our God
There is no one like our God
For greater things have yet to come
And greater things are still to be done in this City
Greater thing have yet to come
And greater things are still to be done in this City
But I love the words of this song, and it is our prayer for Belfast.
You're the God of this City
You're the King of these people
You're the Lord of this nation
You are
You're the Light in this darkness
You're the Hope to the hopeless
You're the Peace to the restless
You are
There is no one like our God
There is no one like our God
For greater things have yet to come
And greater things are still to be done in this City
Greater thing have yet to come
And greater things are still to be done in this City
