Good Friday

Some highlights from when 4:12 took the Good Friday service at church!

Games Night - 5th June 2009

A few weeks ago at 4:12, we had a Games night at the church. Everyone was put into a team, and each team was competing to be the best. But they were going to have to work for it! There were a variety of challenges which started off with designing your own team costumes - what is your brand? Other challenges included Football, Dodgeball, 'Chalk-it-up', Paper Airplane challenge, and Capture the L-Plate. Check out some of the action. David Hume's 'Pink' team won in the end - after a head-to-head toilet roll challenge against Chipo's team. Well done Pink!

Games Night II- 5th June 2009

4:12 Challenge '

Hey guys!

Again, everyone who enters by MIDNIGHT on THURSDAY is in with a chance of winning!

We are going to try a different type of challenge this week.
1 John 4:7-21 talks a lot about loving one another.

verse 7 - "Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God."
verse 11 - "Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other."
verse 20 - "If someone says, "I love God," but hates a Christian brother or sister, that person is a liar; for if we don't love people we can see, how can we love God, whom we cannot see?"

1. Read it through for yourself.
2. Send me 3 practical ways that you think we should 'Love one another.'

(Hint - It's not all necessarily about saying 'I love you!' or mushy, gushy love!)

E-mail to craig@dundonaldelim.co.uk
